Our Sunday morning children's groups are called 'Shine'. Everyone is welcome.
Please see the details below for more information and please if you have any questions.
Here at the Good Shepherd, children and young people are welcome every Sunday. At All Age Services (usually on the first Sunday of the month and at special festivals such as Harvest, Mothering Sunday, Christmas and Easter) children are an intrinsic part of our service; they get involved and join in alongside the adult members of the congregation. Toys, books and colouring sheets are available for younger children if needed.
On other Sundays, school aged children meet in their own groups (see below for more details) and join the service in time to share in communion. Younger children are welcome to stay in the service with their parents - we provide 'Happy Bags' for them to use if they wish. Alternatively, if accompanied by a parent, they may either join the children's groups or use the toys and books in the room adjacent to the main hall.
If you are unable to join us in person, there may be resources available for you to use at home. Please if you would like to receive them.
This term we are studying The Lord's Prayer, with Bible stories to illustrate each line and theme. Do join us if you can!
