'Shine' is the new name for our Sunday morning children's groups.
Everyone is welcome. Please see the details below on each of our groups for more information.
Please if you have any questions.
While we have been unable to meet in person, Shine has met some weeks via Zoom at 10am for half an hour or so of songs, games, bible stories and prayer. When there has been no Zoom we have sent out craft, colouring and puzzle activities on the week's theme. The topics for this combined Shine programme for this term are shown below. Do if you would like to find out more.

Here at the Good Shepherd, children and young people are welcome every Sunday. At All Age Services (usually on the first Sunday of the month and at special festivals such as Harvest, Mothering Sunday, Christmas and Easter) children are an intrinsic part of our service; they get involved and join in alongside the adult members of the congregation. Toys, books and colouring sheets are available for younger children if needed.
On other Sundays, school aged children meet in their own groups (see below for more details) and join the service in time to share in communion. Younger children are welcome to stay in the service with their parents - we provide 'Happy Bags' for them to use if they wish. Alternatively, if accompanied by a parent, they may either join the children's groups or use the toys and books in the room adjacent to the main hall.
Stars is our Sunday morning group for children of pre-school age, in Reception and Key Stage 1. Younger children, including babies, are also very welcome to join in!
All children should be accompanied by an adult until they are of school age.
Rockets is our Sunday morning group for children in school years 3, 4 & 5.
Beacons is our group for children and young people in year 6 and above.
